Changing the Leadership Protocols

I ran my leadership meetings in ways which people didn't expect:

- we would start by sitting in silent meditation

- we would put our tech/mobiles into the middle of the table for one hour, leave them untouched, have a brief check on them after an hour for anything urgent, and then repeat

- when we were together for a whole day, the first couple of hours would be dedicated to unstructured sharing on personal topics, followed by chat on work-based relationship concerns

Please do try this -> for me it never ceased to surprise me how much more my inspiring leadership team stepped into their power and impact from doing this. Trust and collaborative problem solving emerging naturally. People stepped up into the space that was there for them. We always got everything done we needed to, and more. We became a team. We made the impact we wanted to make.

What do you do which is outside of typical leadership protocol?
